Tara Chklovski is the founder and CEO of Technovation, a global nonprofit inspiring girls to lead in tech and AI. Named by Forbes as "the pioneer empowering the incredible tech girls of the future," she has built Technovation into a movement reaching 450,000+ people across 160+ countries, and through The AI Forward Alliance (TAIFA) is now working to prepare 25 million young women as leaders in AI and technology. In 2025, Technovation became the largest AI accelerator for women and girls in the world, with nearly 11,000 youth from 74 countries creating 3,200+ tech-based solutions, including 1,200 AI prototypes. Inspired by her experiences growing up in India and training as an aerospace engineer, Tara has developed a widely adopted education model combining mentorship, hands-on learning, and entrepreneurship, and her research shows that AI education for girls could unlock a $200 billion opportunity for the global economy.
